PhD Candidate in Transport Geography 🌍
👋 Hui is a final-year PhD candidate in the Department of Geography at The University of Hong Kong, supervised by Professor Becky P.Y. Loo and funded by The Joint Lab on Future Cities. He received his Master's degree in Transport Engineering from the College of Transportation at Tongji University in June 2022 🎓, and his B.Eng. in Railway Transport Engineering from the School of Traffic and Transportation at Beijing Jiaotong University in June 2019. He has received several awards, including first place in the INFORMS Railway Operations Research Competition, the China National Scholarship, the Outstanding Graduate Award of Shanghai, and the Outstanding Master's Thesis Award.
🔬 His academic training encompasses both engineering and social sciences. His research focuses on sustainable transport solutions for future cities 🌆, developing people-oriented and place-based methods to build safe, inclusive, efficient, and healthy transport systems.
